Pannun Gives Threat to Blow Ayodhya Sri Ram Temple
Ayodhya On Alert: Security Tightened After Khalistani Terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun’s Bomb Threat To Ram Temple.
Manyata Tripathi | VSB | Ayodhya | Nov 17, 2024:: Ayodhya has been transformed into a fortress following a threat from Canadian-American Khalistani separatist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun to blow up the Ram Temple. The founder of the banned outfit ‘Sikhs for Justice’ warned of potential bloodshed at the Ram Temple on November 16-17, coinciding with the ‘Ram Vivah’ festival scheduled for November 18, which Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is expected to attend.
Enhanced Security Measures
To counter the threat, authorities have implemented robust security arrangements:
- – Tight Entrance Security: Special forces from ATS and CRPF have been deployed at every significant checkpoint.
- – Surveillance: CCTV and drone cameras are monitoring key areas, particularly the nearby areas of the Ram Janmbhoomi complex.
- – Route March: The Special Protection Force has taken charge of the area nearby Ram Temple, conducting a route march in the yellow zone around the premises by ATS and CRPF personnel.
- – Vehicle Checks: Buses operating on the Ram Path are being minutely checked, and vehicles are only allowed to enter the premises after thorough checks.
Intelligence Agencies on High Alert
Intelligence agencies, anti-terrorist squads, and bomb disposal teams have been put on high alert. Heavy deployment of Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), and Uttar Pradesh Police has been made throughout Ayodhya.
Background on Gurpatwant Singh Pannun
Pannun, designated as a terrorist under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) in July 2020, advocates for Punjab’s cessation. He has warned Indians residing in Canada not to speak on the attacks by Khalistani forces on temples and threatened attacks at temples in Canada on November 16 and 17. Pannun also warned passengers against flying on Air India flights between November 1 and 19.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) RK Nayyar emphasized that security in Ayodhya has been strengthened, and authorities are taking all necessary precautions to prevent any untoward incidents.
Pannun must be arrested by Canada or US law enforcement
Gurpatwant Singh Pannun is indeed a highly controversial figure, known for promoting the Khalistan movement as the legal advisor and spokesperson for Sikhs for Justice (SFJ). Now it is clear that so called counsel for justice Gurpatwant Singh Pannun is an hard core Khalistani terrorist with his ulterior motive against Hindus and Indians. It is unfortunate that the Canadian and US governments give him a security cover to ease his extremist activists. His actions have been deemed extremist, and he’s been accused of promoting violence against Hindus and Indians. In fact, various Hindu bodies in the US and Canada have demanded his arrest
